Currently, The Copper Nail has three projects under way:

• An 18’ sea kayak under construction, which is cedar strip and will eventually be protected by clear fiberglass cloth and epoxy.
• A 21’ shoal draft fiberglass sailboat is undergoing some cosmetic repairs and a new tiller.
• A new sailing skiff is starting construction as a demonstration boat. This design is used for The Copper Nail’s training of the “build your own boat” courses offered every summer.
